Maybe Samsung watches (Gear 2, Gear S or Gear S2) can. Need another user to verify.

Dun expect much from this.
It has Android smartphone like Option, Task, and Back touch sensitive key.
But I think it is using proprietary software, not Android.

But for this price, below RM40, not much can ask.

So, this watch just shy of 2 days battery life without bluetooth turn on.
With bluetooth on, I guess it won't last a day.

Everything just pretty basic.
No apps can be install, only 3 watch face to choose.

Pretty pixelated screen, no wallpaper can be added.
Only can push notification, make a call with speaker phone, or become a small bluetooth speaker.
Read sms, some function like calculator, stop watch, calendar, pedometer count.

But the apps on the phone with notification pushing and sms linking do not works will all Android OS, at least Lollipop is not supported, but Kitkat, Jellybeans works fine.

Maybe this is fine for a kid to start with.

Finally, this watch is not IP certified, means it deal with water, rain, it will die.

Nope, The Gear S2 is not an Android Wear device.
It only works with Samsung's smartphone, Samsung own's Touchwiz UI.

Gear S2 will work on selective Android devices with additional requirement installing few apps for better user experience. Indeed with Samsung phone, it's plug and play, less hassle.

I would say other phones model beside those of Samsung's own smartphone will has less support, maybe much less feature that can sync with the phone.

Can see those comment at Google Playstore.
The apps name is "Samsung Gear".

It should work perfectly with those Samsung smartphone with Touchwiz UI, where some feature rely heavily on the Touchwiz.

Moto 360 2is finally here. But dang, I can't justify myself to fork out 1.7k for it, or the huawei watch. My sw3 is working perfectly fine and only the look, the loooooookk.

Anyone is bored with their huawei? tongue.gif
