Finally my watch film protector for Gear S3 just arrive which i order from Amazon for rm123.5.... I order a matte type because i feel that it is much more match with the watch matte surface and the clear type will make the watch look plasticky look.



Opening the box, you get the usual standard stuff.

1. Solution liquid
2. Leaflet and instruction QR guide
3. Lint free cleaning cloth (Black Colour) (white colour cloth is mine)
4. Standard film protector for the watch

The film protector had some quality premium feel (in thickness) to it and it had mild adhesive that could withstand light to mild scrape before the film came out from the watch.



Tools required: Tooth pick, Tweezer, Cloth (Prefer lint free), Sufficient light for space, Patient and Time.

Final Verdict:

After installation,The film on the front surface at the bezel doesn't full cover the all. Each edge of the film will left with 5% surface expose while middle cut joint on both film will left 2% surface exposed.

Overall, I'm quiet satisfy with the product that skinomi offer and the installation was easy and breezy (Provided your not rushing to apply them), but there is a few thing that they can improve by making the front bezel film plastic a bit wider to cover all the gaps.

P/S: You can try to stick without the solution, If you very pro and precise in applying the film protector. The solution is just for ppl who want to do adjustment once the film is in place on the surface.

Good news for IOS user, Finally samsung had announce that they will release their Gear App for the IOS by mid of January, Give and Take i would say you should able to see them end of Jan. I wonder what function does it offer for IOS since apple like to jail alot of the function

Pretty much it the same as the beta program...just add some stability with fit gear.... those purchase the face watch from android phone now able to get transfer over. Samsung store still have no paid app yet.....

Here is the breakdown instruction on how to do it. Hope it will help others in the process... Rather then some ppl just ask to search google.

1. Make sure you computer / laptop are connected to router via cable (Not Wifi, A common misunderstanding mistake for those who use laptop or dongle)
2. Make sure you have Author Cert (With samsung Account) register. Before do anything.
3. Make sure you have Distributor Cert (With Samsung Account) register. This would require your watch to connected with the Gear watch design before you can register them.. P/S: it can be done after step 6
3. Load the the watch face.
4. Press F10 or go to project > Build to build your face watch .GWD to .TPK
5. Press F9 or go to project > Run on devices
6. Then there is a menu "Connect to gear" pop up. Click on the plus sign. Key in the IP address you get from your watch. (Setting > Connection > WIFI > WIFI Network > Click on the wifi your on > Scroll down > IP)
7. Make sure you watch is in debugging mode (Settings > Gear info > Scroll down > Debugging mode)
8. You watch will show up on the "Connect to gear" menu. Click on it.

Note 1: If you don't have Distributor Cert registered. The transfer will stop at 61% an error will pop up.
Note 2: Author & Distributor Cert and Registered can be found at Gear Watch design app under Project

All those notification function had no problem but you cant used your watch to text or receive calls and you will notice some icon are missing (So far i only notice small call icon did not display)

If you are active person that doe alot of sport...i would say go with garmin, it offer much better battery life with thier monochrome screen..... 6 week of watch mode * damm awesome* but the down side is you wont have much fashionable watch face....

If you are casual type of person who like fashion, try out HW, it offer much more watch face then garmin did minus the heart rate sensor (not sure the new version include one) .... but you have to charge it daily on moderate usage...

lolz....so it is a trend now ppl letting go their S3 ? Perhaps the hype is no longer there ?

Gear S3 watch face seem to be limited....compare to AW which more widely ppl would do on rather then tizen

Isn't apple watch face also can sideload too.... im doing conversion from AW to tizen watch face.... i find some of the awesome watch face i like don have in tizen....some of the watch face have to think outside of the box due to different mechanism method applying between AW and Tizen

It is created by LG but branded as google smartwatch and it runs on android 2.0 just like all other smart watches when update roll out ....

But im competing to buy fenix 3 since it price drop on the unit and maximum battery life of 2 week

i doubt wear 2.0 will be release for fenix 3, but garmin always had constant update their watch and bug fixes from time to time....maybe they will include the wear 2.0 patch

Not much worry either, i think it is pretty good enough already because Fenix are not meant to be fashion watch (That why you don need high LED display or OLED display) but more to real adventure tracking and health fitness watch type with crazy amount of battery life to spare.... imagine it got 2 week battery life on smart phone mode (Bluetooth connection to phone) compare to tizen or AW....
