Just wondering, I notice alot of user reported that tizen 3.0 had some issue with overheating causin watch not fully charge (unless in power saving mode) and also battery drain .... but seeing not much as reported here, is it isolated case ? anyone had tizen 3.0 update mind share your thought ?

Planing to get back gear s3 but seeing this issue halted me

Should i hold for new gear this year, since the price is still strong ?

With the sport you get Smaller Screen, Smaller battery, no MST payment (you can only pay with NFC on wireless wave only, Cant used on the swipe card machine) heck even the strap also smaller (20mm instead of 22mm)... and only good thing is it comes with 5 ATM and swimming compatibility (in which again samsung warranty does not guarantee repair if the watch ever fail with water damage), Plus the price isnt much different from those Classic and Frontier model.

Those Classic and Frontier model still hot item, Each time when ppl throw own in the second hand, immediate it been sold off....

One thing that reminds me .... Sport does look similar to Classic except for the body shape....
But one thing i cant help be bother is why don Samsung just engrave the bezel marking on frontier instead of just print a layer of coating infront

Not only that but your convenience to received call and talk to ppl from wrist rather had having lashing out you phone.... i find it useful when you hand are fully tight off (Driving and carrying thing with both hands)..... i don think any of the WearOS can do that yet though i wish there were one.... but sadly Gear s3 call feature are exclusively for samsung devices. Newest Garmin watch have it too but also sadly it is only for apple devices at the moment....

so what your all guys think of the new galaxy watch....sound like rebranding from old watch to new one with little added feature like swim ready and slightly bigger battery life..... generally im not really impress

Most website had said it comes with only NFC.....no MST pay which is a bummer that samsung remove those...else it would be a convenience watch....furthermore the water proofing just only 5ATM....mean light water splash is OK but going on a dive and high power water spray might potential kill the watch

that the time i don understand with samsung, such useful feat but yet samsung choose to remove it.....

Well for that price, i rather get back the old Gear S3.... but the price for the watch still strong as im expecting it to drop in price....

i wont say it will par with S3 but given or take i think it still a little improvement to s3 maybe by a day or 2.....

Strangely the website never point out the microphone (S3 do have point out) but i think your right with Bixby command that does need voice to activate

Just wondering those who used wireless transaction payment on S3, do you need to connect to internet to used it ? or perhaps connect via bluetooth to phone to used it ?

Just update gear wear app ...seem remove the support for gear s3 and s2 button in favour for sport and galaxy watch....though you can still connect using the "mine not here" button

First impression, everything seem the same, software abit snappy in the video.... but colour is Silver, really Samsung...and the ticking sound like real watch...that just gimmick and waste of battery :/

Cashless payment may look old for tech savy ppl but still it impress most ppl when it actually work on the payment, im surprise

why not settle for galaxy watch ? Better battery life woh
