Regarding the "fake" picture, I am assuming u are using selfie mode, rite? If not mistaken, there is a mode called beauty shot usually appeared during selfie mode which has 8 levels, with the 8 being the most touchup picture and looks very fake (sort of removing pimples, freckels and others imperfections on your face) and 1 being the most original ones, maybe u shud try adjust that one first?
