My only concern is that in event it auto update for me without my permission, then i will have to search high and low on how to revert back to kitkat....LOL

QUOTE(bananalow @ Apr 15 2015, 11:10 PM) First, just click install when notification pop up. Then when the pls wait sign shown up, restart your phone. After restart, it will say update fail and ask u wheather want to report the error or not. Just click cancel. Voila....both notification and logo gone now. Remember unchecked the auto update in setting to prevent same scenario reoccur... thanks bro, was about to asked the same question and you answered but 1 question, assuming if I uncheck the autoupdate in setting, does that means those other apps also will not be auto updated? QUOTE(bananalow @ Apr 16 2015, 05:17 PM) I straight away restart without waiting... maybe u have to reset your phone if still unsuccessful or u have to bear with it The auto-update in setting is just for phone, yours apps auto-update is control by google play, hence unchecked auto-update in phone won't affect google plays auto-update one. noted, thanks

btw guys, I know this question has been asked a numerous time but there wasn't any straight forward answer at all. What is the best way to back up all data and phone settings of an unrooted Note 4 pls? any free apps for that or just use the phones backup and reset function will do? really scared to play with it leh bcos if something goes wrong, all data and contacts gone, all setting gone....very tedious on leh. I did some google but just could not get any solid answers any sifu can guide us pls This post has been edited by arrsoo: Apr 16 2015, 05:56 PM
