I set the resolution of my Note 4 to 1920x1080 using ADB. For me I think UHD for 5 inch device is really overkill. No root required and need to use ADB. The ADB commands are:- adb shell wm size 1080x1920 adb shell wm density 480 <-- so everything scales correctly. My graphic score in Antutu jumped to 18k+. I think the battery usage should be the same since all the pixels need to be lit up anyhow. Maybe it saves power because the GPU no need to work so hard. Not sure about this, didn't bother to record it. Can't use Samsung Keyboard though. Need to use Google Keyboard or other 3rd party keyboard. Edit: The performance should match Galaxy S6 running at UHD. This post has been edited by Demonic Wrath: Mar 22 2015, 07:05 PM

QUOTE(mckevin @ Mar 22 2015, 09:09 PM) helo.. how bout the responsiveness ? how about overall performance when using the phone ? Hard to say if there's any improvement. I think that the Touchwiz is already very smooth and snappy using the default resolution.

For those updated using KIES or downloading from Sammobile, I think your CSC will change to THL (Thailand). This is because those firmwares are multi-CSC firmwares, and THL is the default CSC code. So far, you'll need to root (void KNOX 0x1) to change CSC code.
I have also noticed there are difference in the firmware size if downloading from KIES/Sammobile (1.8GB) and OTA update (1.0GB).

QUOTE(Marcus_1104 @ Apr 4 2015, 10:14 AM) it is normal to have size difference la bro , with KIES/Sammobile you are downloading a full rom, with OTA you just download updated package Yep. But I think after using KIES to update, the CSC will change to THL. That's what happened to my phone. Anyone can validate this? Also, for future update, the update will be based on THL release? Heh. After my csc changed to THL, my software update says "The latest update has been installed." even after Malaysia Lollipop came out. I think that means my update schedule is not same as Malaysia already..

QUOTE(andyting @ Apr 10 2015, 02:48 PM) hey guys, unfortunately after updating to lollipop i have this battery draining issue, wipe cache also same, now thinking to do factory reset. but i am thinking since wanna factory reset, how about rooting the device altogether too.. can i know custom ROM that is running lollipop will have battery issues, etc like the stock ROM? Battery draining issue is most likely due to your installed applications, and also device syncing.
