what i experience with 640 XL .. the camera not as nice as Iphone 6 plus, but for Lumia after you the picture it will auto tune the image and make it sharper and look nice
*
just wondering, does it have settings to keep the picture ori instead of 'auto-tune' it..

sorry for lots of questions, never have the chance to play around windows phone sad.gif biggrin.gif

Lumia Camera can manual set the shutter speed, ISO, manual focus, white balance.

If you are familiar with those setting, you can take photo like a pro rolleyes.gif

Check out my 640 XL low light photos here
http://1drv.ms/1NmNUu6

Low light looks blurry when zoom in because I'm using my hands instead of tripod with very slow shutter speed

Consider 640XL is under entry phone category, 1/3 of the fruit phone price, this is great quality already nod.gif

Question
1. Double tap function is ok or not? Mine not working and read from web said that failure rate is high

2. When I call somebody, phone screen goes blank and I unable to know the call status. I have to press power button to reactivate the call screen. Is it normal? Can I set as normal phone I.e screen goes blank only when the phone near ear.

1. Make sure your hands / fingers or not covering the proximity sensor when you double tap.
2. That's not normal, maybe you screen protector affecting the proximity sensor? Mine has a hole cut at the sensor there. Worse case scenario might be a faulty proximity sensor.

There are a lot of Android phone with same price range as 640 XL (RM 800-900 range). Most of them offer better processor (SD615/800), RAM (2 GB), Storage (16 GB).

Windows phone OS may not need those hardware to function but having better hardware definitely help improve user experience.
