I'm a Maxis postpaid user thinking of switching to U Mobile or Digi. However, I'm not sure if U Mobile's coverage is reliable, since there seems to be a lot of complaints. Any U Mobile user want to share your experience with this telco? And how about the other telcos, which one has the best coverage?

That really depending on area. For Klang Valley it doesn't make much differences between any telco in terms of 3/2G but in terms of LTE, Maxis is the best

That means if you are not satisfied with Maxis coverage, then don't even think about U. tongue.gif

I live in the Klang Valley and have no problem with Maxis coverage. It's just that I want to try a cheaper plan with more data quota, like U Mobile offers. But apparently, U Mobile has weak coverage if you don't live in big cities. U Mobile only has LTE in Subang Jaya and a couple other places, I heard.

Like I said, I'm quite satisfied with Maxis coverage (cos I live in Klang Valley tongue.gif ), I just want to know if other telcos can offer better than Maxis in terms of coverage.

Give TuneTalk a try, wide LTE coverage, cheap data. As TuneTalk is MVNO, you don't have to worry about coverage.

Is Tunetalk prepaid or postpaid? Also, pardon my ignorance, but what is MVNO? tongue.gif

I've been to a deep in the woods kinda place, all my friends of maxis & digi user can't get any signal. I got a signal on my celcom and all of them ask me to hotspot my internet. It's on E though, not the best speed but it can handle WhatsApp

So far, it seems like most agree that Celcom has the best coverage nationwide, while Maxis, U Mobile and Digi are about the same? tongue.gif

Tunetalk with 4G speed ..
widest coverage, fast speed, cheap internet (legal way)
Calls also cheap...
But if you're not worried about data, u can try OneXOX, coz they offer long validity

I have used You Mobile before. It sucks. Poor coverage poor speed. I was given 20GB data but I hardly even able to utilize more than 25% of it despite I am a super heavy because a lot of places I went there are no Service. I heard that it shares network with no 2 telco but funny part despite there are good no 2 telco coverage I cannot access to data at all. If u travel often on NS high way, the data is totally unusable at any place.

Not really. Blue and green are definitely equally good, yellow and orange sucks big time.
