I think you didn't kena kencing. If it's NS40ZL, probably the price is around that range. That's because Amaron have got 3 different series:

GO - Economy Series
Hilife - Premium Series
Hilife PRO - Ultimate Performance Series

If possible, I would prefer to use Century's Ultramax.

Performance wise is acceptable and it is made in Malaysia.

Amaron and Exide are made in India and this will cause outflow of fund.

Have to support Malaysia made products.

I am Using Hitachi SMF NS40ZL. Surprisingly, the CCA when tested, recorded at 430.

Quite strong and exceeded the specification for NS40ZL size battery.

Yes. I saw that post but no choice since my battery was flat and they've only got Hitachi.

I suppose I won't be that bad luck as exploding batteries are quite rare and might be due to some defects.
