Can I ask if anyone knows whether radio wave sync works over here? Before I run out and splash a decent amount on something that doesn't even work?
I know they sell things like G-Shocks with that function, but never really looked into if it works here. |

Well, confirms my unfortunate suspicion some ppl say malaysia also can receive, but most i ever received was lvl 1 of 3...which isnt enough to sync. i've tried different coast lines from johor, selangor, malacca, pangkor - cos there will be less signal blockage - all failed. next yr im gonna go try on the ganu side see if succesful or not the other best option is install an app called JJY. I read that our radio waves is regulated around here and thus providers could not clear some govt. set requirements or something thus no sync wave are present.. Was looking at an Oceanus.. |

QUOTE(fuzzy @ Oct 16 2015, 06:36 PM) Well, confirms my unfortunate suspicion new oceanus is GPS, so that one should be no problem since the astrons work.I read that our radio waves is regulated around here and thus providers could not clear some govt. set requirements or something thus no sync wave are present.. Was looking at an Oceanus.. when u said radio waves its usually assumed to be atomic timekeeping, which is not easy to receive as the broadcast stations too far away...only on a clear night with luck that may be possible. |
