Dedicated 15 year old player with decent understanding of competitive dota 2. Solo mmr:4.9k . Need a team to help me reach the next level. Located at Petaling Jaya. Thinking of going for smaller tournaments and trying my best to be a professional. Can play 3 hours every weekdays and free whole day on weekends. Anyone recruiting? Strong at 1 and 2 role.

Add me if you want to learn. I can show you to way 6k.

Only add me if you have the same goal. If you just want a slot in my team, unfortunately we have none right now. 4.9k is nowhere near good enough, i have better options.

I only have one requirement, we communicate in Malay.

FYI he is 6k. But yes, that post did come across as rather arrogant. Why not just give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it was just poorly written?

Very wise young man. You judged me when you've never met me or played with me before.

I'm sorry if i hurt your ego, there was nothing wrong with what i said. Always remember this, skill is "relative". There's no point saying you're good or decent, those are empty words. Whether you're good enough or not, is always relative to the person who judge you. To a 7k player i myself might be a complete scrub who failed at basics.

Young man, remember this, most captains won't recruit you on the basis of future improvements. When they recruit you they want results. Very few captains are willing to do that. Why? because they have better options instead of waiting 6 months for a player to improve.

There's nothing special about a 15 year old 5k mmr player. My former teammates was a 16 year old 6.2k player, had to quit because he's taking SPM this year. Jed achieved no.1 in the leaderboards when he was only 16. I know some 16 year old Malaysian who are very close to 6k mmr.

Contrary to popular belief, we were never lacking in young talented players like sumail, zai, xcalibur. Captains like ppd is what we're looking for, not players like sumail. We need captains that are willing to give chance and a little bit of freedom to young players. You think sumail can perform like that if he's scared of his captain. Go ask Jed, according to my source, he couldn't play well back when he was in mineski because he was so scared of johnny. Ask June how Chuan treated him. Seriously good luck looking for captain that can deal with your flaws, you already rejected one of them.

kaizer has a point, 4.9k really nothing, it is average at best, even getting rank1 in SEA doesnt really matter. Hell, even rank 1 in SEA and all other servers dont matter unless it is in perfect world because the playstyle is completely different. The players on PW work together, voice chat & shit, and draft properly and matches are like proper top tier teams scrims. Everyone knew their roles and performed and it all boils down to who has better execution and team synergy, unlike mmr games in SEA n others, they're just pubs.

MMR in SEA is just a measure of your individual skills and game sense whether u can properly lane n last hit, initiate ganks and avoid ganks. It has very little connection to CW types of games because drafts, game plan and strategy execution as a whole team is what wins games, not individual skills. When u see players like ig.430/ RTZ make flashy plays, the reason is not only because 430/RTZ are skilled, more importantly it is also because the whole team strategy prioritizes him and creates the space for him to farm n shine at the cost of Luo/Fear's farm. Outdraft and outsmart enemy in strategy will make top tier teams look like they are 2k mmr.

Ability to create team synergy, motivation, positive energy and make connection with the whole team and fit in is the key to success. A team needs to trust each other 100% and always follow captain's decision. Because sometimes even when the captain made a bad call but the whole team sticked to it from beginning till the end the result might turn out to be good.

Reread kaizer's post it was not cocky nor there is any attitude problem, if anything, he is just being straightforward. You asked for help (to achieve next level), he offered you a very serious invitation, he gets insulted in return. The only thing I see is opportunity because if u happen to improve significantly he is very likely to include you as a member of his team. Good job blowing your chance to enter the inner circle where players share the same dreams and are serious about achieving them. After this thread who knows he might even go as far as boycotting you, good luck with that attitude.

Also, wrong country to be professional. Even a successful team like arrow get paid peanuts (i consider attending The international = successful) which consequently lead to 322.

This is exactly the reason I hate SEA MMR, they just can never improve or take it seriously.

An advice for you too, people are helping you not trying to discriminate you or your dream.

So be gentle with people's comment,
Might be harsh for you, 4900mmr at age of 15 is good,
But still a long way to professional,

But first
To be a professional, you need proper attitude smile.gif smile.gif
