Photography problem with my sd card, can't read

hi guys~

i got my nikon d7000 with a sandisk ultra 16gb class 10 memory card ....

everything works fine but in the morning just now when i plug the memory card into it the camera cant read my card and it got display on the screen err ( obviously is error ) so i try ti plug into my card reader it work perfectly fine on computer but camera just cant read it

it even got message say please slide the lock to write so i check it again but the lock is at unlock position....

any one help me out with this ?

any suggestion or guide would be much appreciated

try right click on the card, then go to "properties", then tick both of the box "check error" "repair error", do this on the card reader. sometimes, it's just times up.

Try formatting the card through the camera. If both pc and camera reformat does not work, try different sd card and cross your finger that it's not your camera that cause the problem.

i tried it also first i really freaked out i format through camera it can reformat but it cant read it =.= seems weird then i use computer format again the prob soesnt go away ..... i really scare its the prob from camera cry.gif

Try h2testw tool to check if any corruption on sd card.

Maybe is corrupted card or fake card.

just tried to inserted back my memory card into my camera it works again ....

feel so weird suddenly got think kind of prob ... will it be my camera prob ? kinda worry right now ohmy.gif

btw i think my card is genuine i bought it from viewnet <<< quite well known maybe wont sell fake product .....

No harm trying to confirm any corruption on memory.

At least you can claim warranty if is faulty.

you have any other sd card? try to put in to your camera? maybe is camera problem

maybe i should take my camera to nikon center and ask them to check whether is there any faulty in my camera

and also kingmax 8gb class 4 tried also cant ....

probably is my camera problem ....

btw do you have any idea why and why is this problem ? sad.gif

but i think youre asking if computer can read those card ?

the answer is yes ... my computer can definitely read it

if other devices could read it, then yes, most possibly it's your camera. have you tried resetting your camera also?

not yet ..... and i nvr tried that before

once i back home will try it

so that means if after i reset my camera the problem do not happen again then i consider just some glitch or something else and i alrdy fixed it ? icon_question.gif

once happened to me. after asking my friend to try it on his camera. the sd card working fine. only my camera not working.
