I read somewhere on Apple discussion on a "stress test" to see if my Macbook is experiencing RS, basically to open 2 terminal and "yes". This would put the CPU to max load, temperature up.

I tried it, my temp max at 72 deg cel, with my location in Genting, I'm not sure this temp is good or not. Any ideas? I'll leave it to run for a while and see if anything happens.

After that the hottest it gets was 45 deg cel.

On another discussion, it was mentioned to check the system log (console) for previous shutdown codes, negative values shows RS. I found mine to be all -60. Anyone knows what this means? I dont like to believe that I have RS when I have not experienced any symtoms.

Experts please explain, need your help here..

1. At maximum CPU load, what temp is good temp? Bad temp?
2. What does -60 means in the system log for shutdowns?
