Between these 2 choices, which should I go for?. The camera is used mainly for street photography, I dont plan to hunt for a wide range of lenses because I mostly shoot at 23mm(+/-) or wider. I will most probably only stick to the 18mm for a looong time if I choose the XE2 until i have extra cash for a 27/35. I also want the wifi capability to instantly transfer images to friends, family, etc on phones (planning to use an eye-fi on the X100S). The X100T is way out of budget. Please do leave a comment stating why

for me i'd go for xe2 and xf 18mm..

if too wide,u can just crop and 10MP is sufficient .at least for me ..i own xe1 and xf18.and i've been thinking to try x100s.

yet i try to crop the 18mm and become around 23mm in focal length..it is like having x100 (12MP on resolution) .so decided to stay with xf 18 tongue.gif

Get the XE2, who knows in the future you would want to tried on other focal length. the wifi capability will come in handy when you're traveling oversea where backup your images/sharing to social network will be piece a cake rather than carrying a laptop & cables to do so. just my opinion smile.gif cheers mate

I could, after deducting the eye fi cost I'd probably have around 800 surplus. However, I don't want to start investing in another lens so soon because it kind of beats the purpose of a small mirrorless I have in mind. l plan to just live on the 18mm for a long time. Again, of course, I may invest in a cheap 27mm in the future and that's pretty much all the lenses I need. A 14/18+ 27/35. So I thought I'd just get the xe2 for the wifi and slight increase in perf.
