QUOTE(wankel @ Mar 24 2015, 05:42 PM) It's an old time thing that still has its use, it involves filing passages near the valves to improve mixture flow, also ports where manifolds meet the head with be matched to avoid obscuring them, when done they're polished to further improve flow. ah..i see....Thanks... |

QUOTE(TitanRev @ May 19 2015, 04:06 PM) Spark plug won't give you any difference in power BUT if you use the wrong heat range then your FC might suffer so a correct heat range of spark plug is more important that whether gain performance or not. Fair enough...better use stock spark plug..no headache... From my own experience, I've tried Copper and Iridium. On my car iridium didnt cause the car to jerk that much compare to copper plug during idling. When driving time both felt the same even on dyno there's no difference. The only difference is the smoothness of the graph line but it's marginal and not that affecting to a daily driver. Iridium some say it last longer but I'm doubtful on that because I burned off 1 of my iridium tip just at 40,000KM. |
