2) Upper paper filter(replaced pollen filter)


3) Lower paper filter


4) Dusty


5) Very dusty


6) Very-very dusty, already turned to grey color

If I'm not wrong IAFM (FL) model timing belt due on 80,000KM according to proton service schedule. But just waiting for more feedback what was the usual change out by our guys here.

Alhamdulilah, berkat izinNya kita bertemu lagi di tahun baru 2013 semoga tahun ini memberi sesuatu yang lebih baik dari tahun lepas. Entri untuk kali ini, saya ingin berkongsi sedikit info berkenaan pedal clutch kereta Saga Blm saya ni yang sejak kebelakangan ini mengeluarkan bunyi yang kurang menyenangkan bila ditekan semasa menukar gear bagi kereta bertransmisi manual cam kereta saya ni....tik...tak...tik...
Pada mulanya saya telefon servis centre proton yang terdekat bertanyakan masalah ini tetapi standard la jawabnya..."encik datang sini nanti kami check dulu"...hahaha, kena aku baru tau...so disebabkan aku malas dan ada komitmen kerja makanya aku tak jadi pergi la kat SC tu.
Dijadikan cerita pada cuti awal tahun hari tu (selasa) saya memprojek masalah kereta Saga Blm saya ni dan perkara yang saya kenalpasti seperti gambar dibawah ni....

Saya check clutch pedal tu cam ada longgar dan bila saya tekan memang keluar bunyi tu...dan saya cuba buka skru (dalam bulatan merah tu) senang je tak perlu pakai alat cuma pakai tangan je, lepas je pin dihujung tu dan tarik keluar skru tu. Dan dihujung satu lagi tu ada 'O' RING cam dalam gambar yang aku tulis tu, rupanya 'O' RING tu cam da kemek pastu aku gi pekan kat workshop try p beli 'O'RING yang sama saiz cuma ada tebal sikit la harga RM1 dan kat pedal clutch (lubang tempat skru tadi ada pelapik plastik) keluarkan benda tu dan letakkan sedikit minyak gris dan keseluruhan skru tadi... lepas tu aku pasang balik.
So sehingga sekarang ni, bunyi yang menggangu aku selama ini dah tak ada...syukur alhamdulilah selesai satu perkara. Saya nak bagitau kawan-kawan yang itu berlaku pada kereta Saga Blm saya...kes-kes lain tu, saya kurang arif...bertanya la pada yang lebih pakar cuma saya berkongsi maklumat ini semoga yang sama kes dengan saya bolehlah kita betulkan sendiri ye....sekian

Talking about throttle lag, i had done one grounding cable from battery to the back of the engine. It still have the lag there, what should i do next to improve more especially on my CVT unit?

Which point for your grounding needs?
You have to measure using above mentioned method to determine which is the weak grounding point and apply grounding cable on it. However i believe many people doesn't have this patient or tool to do it, you can refer to following standard points for grounding:

1. Left Body <-> Engine Head
2. Right Body <-> Engine head
3. Firewall <-> Engine head
4. Engine Head <-> Battery Negative Terminal
5. Battery Negative Terminal <-> Body

All taiko...My car almost due 3 years tis end of month. List of the service needed for 90k service , CVT oil change for sure.

Would like to check with u all, is it cvt oil easily available from normal workshop or better purchase from proton n get them change outside?  But scare will affected the g/box since our cvt so fragile n gentle.

Check with proton workshop that service only for cvt oil include cvt filter and labour/GST already cost almost 550...Wat the heck so expensive..

Any suggestion?

getting a new car for my daughter [city use]. deciding between axia or saga sv.
currently my blm = 10 l/100km

They said 40K is time for major service.
Im waiting mine to reach 40K too. I guess the service cost will cost a bomb.
