Quick question, where do you guys buy Nerf? Most of my Nerf bought at retail price (Toy R Us), no discount whatsoever.

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Feb 24 2018, 11:26 AM) Anywhere cheap, Tesco, Giant, Aeon etc, and online 11 Street, lazada, shopee etc... Only when got offer. And also bought used stuff. They still sell it at Tesco? Bought Retaliator, RoughCut few years back at offer price of course. But very limited model. Last item from Tesco was Zombie Strike because of ReduceToClear, very cheap. RM40 i think. |

QUOTE(Parody @ Feb 26 2018, 07:36 PM) If you check the leaked guns for 2018, they're rereleasing Stryfe in blue with a stock and barrel attachment and a banana mag. Didn't know for sure. But since we have Nerf in malaysia, so why not. Never knew we could import toy guns. I thought kastam would stop anything gun-shaped... I'm sure you've heard of JLCustomsCreations, asked them before and they said they successfully shipped few items to Malaysia already. So i think as long as you can prove it's a Nerf then i guess it should be fine. |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 1 2018, 08:37 PM) KO rounds tends to have inconsistent size... Maybe that's why. Also, you can feel the performance very erratic with every shot. In Zeus, some can't fire, and in Kronos, it gets jammed or double feed. Agreed, happen to me also. I bought from several sellers, just to learn which one is better. Cost a bit of money, but acceptable. Some of them are really good. Weighted 20-40grams less / 100 rounds from the original. Only RM35-40. Ori is too expensive for me. 25 rounds for RM70. Eat me! Also Rival rounds is not like the regular darts, the bounce is crazy. Tend to loose few every time. |

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 3 2018, 03:59 PM) Some friend i know are selling them for rm1/pc. PM me fir contacts. You can also try buying from Shopee but pray that the pic they use is the same as what they're selling... Else might end with 'B' or 'R'. I see, they way you put it, sound H is much better then B and R. B is quite good to me for 35sen/pc. HeadShot Ammo any good? |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Mar 16 2018, 02:33 PM) probably, specs are Yes, i noticed, they cut it themselves. Got few on Etsy, already cut for you. Just wonder if we have some local seller selling this.https://www.mcmaster.com/#9637k26 it's not an actual designated nerf spring like Workers, so most likely you need to go to a hardware store. QUOTE(sphiroth @ Mar 16 2018, 03:33 PM) I removed my kronos AR, padded the dead space, improve the seal, and it shoots harder.... All nice, except it becomes less accurate. Do you replace the ring seal? Mine, i did remove the AR, didn't do anything about the dead space. Didn't notice anything about accuracy. |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Mar 16 2018, 05:14 PM) an example of too much power is not a good thing I run 3s on Khaos and Nemesis. Overtime, it kinda destroyed the balls. I even use voltage step down to lower the speed of feeder motor.another example is a modded longshot with 9KG spring firing old streamline darts. it will fishtail all over the place But for spring, i don't know, maybe it won't damage the balls. |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ Mar 30 2018, 10:06 AM) exactly. at least with suction darts, they don't bounce all over. basically, the full speed of the motors(w/ no load) will be the same(same voltage), but the lipo will get there quicker due to higher discharge. higher discharge also means more Amp(motor can have more load), so the motors will recover from the dart drag quicker for the next shot. those Rm5 14500 are not likely IMR, but ICR(ultrafire, trustfire etc). ICR has lower discharge rating and are more volatile. IMR -the good ones-, usuallly starts around RM20. those can only give out around 10A. a 850mAH 2S 25C lipo can do more that 20A, for comparison. plus, with lipo, you can add a voltage alarm . I don't know the mechanics behind it, just add up the voltage part. I started with carbon batteries, it's the worst, you have to wait like 2 seconds, before you get to full power. Move to rechargeable(NiMH? the 1.2v, with D converter for rival) then lipo. Only then i know we do have the AA version of 18650 |
