Thinking to swap my modded Rapidstrike with Recon MK2..Anyone?

where i can buy Nerf N-Strike Elite RapidStrike CS-18? now lelong & lazada no stock left of this type..
my place here, dont have toys r us that sell nerf gun

rapidstrike is not even in most TRU. best bet is online, old stocks.

No it's not. There is no"best" blaster around per say. It depends what you want. Rapidstrike is crap if you don't plan to mod it. Get a Stryfe lol.

True, best depend on many factors, for me price must be cheap, and/or looks sci-fi.

Rather than buying rapidstrike, why not just buy demolisher (about same price retail), or cheaper stryfe... For me, I'm waiting for the new 2016 nerf. The alien ones (forgot is name) looks promising..

true, all flywheel blasters are pretty much crap in stock form. if i have to name a "best", i'd say stryfe is the best bang for the buck amongst the flywheel and strongarm amongst the springer. these 2 are really cheap and effective.

strongarm does not require any mod to work great(well except you'll need to stretch the spring every once in a while). stryfe only require removal of 1 lock and a higher voltage batt to get it kicking.

getting dangerously close to looking like an airsoft rifle there. might get in trouble with your outdoor nerf wars(cops relies on 1st impression). that's what happened to some people i know with paintball markers looking like an M4.

Yeah, the EAT will not be used for outdoor game until it gets a bright paint job lol. I'm planning to bondo the finishes of the 3D printed parts and paint it white, like Star War style white. But what I noticed though, among the community here there are a lot of Blaster that closely resembles a real firearm, mostly dark color but none of us really gotten into any trouble with the police, touchwood.

Others than the black color, it is mostly the buttstock that actually made the blaster looks like an airsoft.

i think black nerf stuff are fine, those are designed to not look like firearms. it's the 3rd party attachments. if an attachment kit is labeled as "masada", you can't expect it to not look like a masada . anyway, like the ancient airsoft saying, "keep it secret! keep it safe!" .

I'm not interested with trading but I do have a Recon Mk2 up for sale, interested?

well, like everything else in this world, there are the smart ones and the not so smart. at least he can vouch for u if you get into trouble .

My first attempt to paint 3D printed parts. Difficulty: Hell.
For me anyway lol.

I never worked with 3D printed parts before, and wow this is very hard lol. I'm about a quarter way to completion I guess lol. Some pic to compare side by side.

Skillful paint job...what happened if just we paint without sanding it? Look awful?
