Just attended my first Nerf game yesterday, chaotic but fun as hell lol.
I was using my Retaliator, I think for the next coming game I will be using Stryfe.

Not shooting fast enough in a nerf war? That is what holding me from getting the retaliator from my friend, even when he offered me cheaper price for it. ROF is not good. Gotta have at least semi auto for nerf war, full auto is good. Unless if I can get rival apollo, manual priming is still acceptable. And it has better accuracy.

But if you are playing target shooting game, then no need high ROF.

Retaliator is a great blaster. ROF isn't really relevant as you need to understand what is your role in the game depending on your load out.

Retaliator shoot very well and reasonably accurate. I could hit a guy with shield with my retaliator from 20-30 feet away, aiming his exposed body/leg so it's good enough for a springer. If you really like Retaliator but ROF is an issue, you can get the pump grip.

I never really once felt that the retaliator is incapable as I simply adapt to the game and role. And ammo conservation is great with retaliator. It is kind of a common misconception that Springers are never good in a Nerf war. Well that only applies when every others players are using Flywheels. Flywheels tends to burn ammo way faster than they should, and limited ammo counts become a problem as they need to scavenge and load up the mag/clips.

Btw 241d is your friend still selling the sonic ice Retaliator? I'm interested.

I heard photo paper can be used.
Not the plain glossy one, but the one with dotted texture like boomco's original target material.
Never tried, though.

I Lost my boomco darts to try dy biggrin.gif

My friend tried to ordered a stryfe from taobao, but seller refused to ship it to Malaysia. Seems like they are getting more strict in shipping 'gun shape toys'.

I even cancelled my plan to bring 80 bucks stampede to malaysia sweat.gif

You guys need to mod a selector switch to the Audu board. Something like this:

Not sure where to put it on the Stryfe though.

And I really don't wanna be on the receiving end of your 100fps hailstorm lol.
