It does looks cool, but for me I'll go for Colonel Wasp Firefly unless you prefer full length darts over half length.

The UDL XM1014 blue/white nerf shell ejecting blaster is fine...I guess? I mean the white/blue makes it looks toy enough, though i think it is still considered a "firearm imitation".

But eh.

Anyway that is really a toy and it has crap performance. Good for folks that play at home shooting each other.

Firefly on the other hand is a 180-200FPS shell ejecting blaster, you can't play that at home safely and does take quite a bit of a strength to prime it. lol

performance: pretty much similar to nerf slingfire. but it's more fun!
build quality: actually, really good. better than even nerf rivals. much heavier too. it's not abs plastic. nylon polymer maybe and metal.
practicality: of course not! shell ejecting is never practical. but it's damn fun!
ease of use: a bit finicky to load. same as other shell ejecting blasters. but it's damn fun!
fun factor: through the roof! i've always wanted a lever action, shell ejecting blaster. this is it! the satisfying clank! of the shells hitting the floor is just priceless. in the end, it's all about the fun factor.

with the grey trigger we've been getting, nerf is going down the drain for me. not even worth window shopping anymore. only rivals have some hope. but then, not too many rival update lately

dart zone/adventure force are way too expensive here. these udl blasters definitely provide a good alternative at a more decent pricing. beware though, price range difference is massive. from MYR175-270 or more.

I'll go for Rival and half-length darts offering from Worker, DZ/AF or other China-copycat models of 3D-printed blasters
