hmm since you're only 1 year there it probably better to not buy 3ds there. if somehow you're still want to grab 1, I would suggest to stock up games before you're coming back. ebay, game, cex or amazon would be a good place to get cheap 2nd hand games. if you want new, non-2nd hand ones, take a look at sites like simplygames. avoid buying new games from highstreet stores like game since they're rarely cheap. or if you don't mind digital instead of physical, you can still buy from eshop using local card (bar card that's issued by some bank that I heard generally quite problematic with foreign/online transactions) unlike NA eshop so grab cheap large capacity sd/micro sd during black Friday or boxing day.
