Help me fellow sifus.. I just bought a new pc and nothing shows up on my monitor. it's an old monitor and the cable, both probably working just fine because i tried connect it back to my old pc and the monitor works. I check the pc, everything is running. I even tried restart, unplug and plug in back the cables etc. i'm not sure what's wrong. Also before i purchased it, i asked the staff to try switching on the pc and everything shows up on their monitor. Is it possible that my monitor is not compatible with the pc? Help me sad.gif

well, theres the problem, you should plug the cable to the port on your GC instead of using the port on mobo

Really? I thought connect to the mobo itself is enough. So,i should connect to both vga and dvi port?

since you using GC should use port on GC..using one port is enough either dvi or vga
