Last year my charger (original comes with the starter set) for MH-23 wont charged my battery, I know this when the red LED on the charger not blinking and my battery still low when I plug into my D5000

So I would like to buy a new one...I'm not a heavy user, but I use DLSR to snap my works.

I saw the original one is around RM150-200 rclxub.gif man, it's very priceyyy! cry.gif
So I google online saw a dupe charger for RM45-48

So my question is, which should I buy according to my usage?
and how long it life spend for the dupe charger?

Please help

IMHO, I would advise go for the original accessories for the camera especially battery and charger. Fake product might overcharged and affect the internal parts, also most of it doesn't follow specified voltage supply although it is written on the box.

i was looking for a "portable usb powered charger" for travel, and I found this

http://www.lelong.com.my/temei-universal-f...7-01-Sale-I.htm

Don't worry about overcharging, because it is powered only via usb (2A max, 5V). so the power is low, hence the charging a lil bit slower, but bearable

I tested my original fuji 1000mah battery, plug in my xiaomi powerbank. takes about 90 minutes to charge. for 1600mah canon battery, you can do your math. moreover this one is perfect for travel and only RM14

ok, after looking at the location of the d5000's battery +/- location and overall size, I can pretty much with 96.7% confidence say it can charge your battery. in the video, it charges a samsung battery which is way longer than d5000's battery
