Hey guys

This is the situation , I am thinking of opening Apple Bytes subforum for OSX86 Freaks , err hackintosh users. Since they are using the same OS and its just that they dont use a real mac . Afterall , this sub-forum is dying. If we bring in OSX86ers , at least this sub-forum would be a little bit more popular. Before that I would need your suggestions/views/thoughts on this matter. If you guys say its a NO , then I would not open it this [But I would still need the green light 'sign' from the admins]

Even If I 'open' the forums , its going to be 'legal'. Everything pure legal , its something like the OSX86Project site itself , expect its for 'Malaysians'.

This sounds to encourage users to use illegal Mac OS X and make the Apple's name... fall...

Are there even that many OSX86 users on this forum? I'm a Windows using Mac-convert-to-be. Finding some way to spice up activity in this subforum would be great.

Thanks for your input guys

Well , its going to be 'legal'. Of course , we are not going to post you the links where to download. Instead we provide 'support' for Hackintoshes , like drivers , installation guide and stuff like that

I do use mac osx86 and I second to create a subforum for mac osx86 users. It is cool to have a local forum providing information about drivers etc etc. Bring it on! biggrin.gif

That is what happening to some of new Mac users, they try the hackintosh first and then definitely will get a Mac.. So no problem here if anyone say that Apple name will ..fall..it's like encouraging them to try Mac tongue.gif

more like inviting viruses and trojans.... I for one against it.... it's turning Mac into another Windoze.... doh.gif doh.gif

besides, I for one got screwed by the LYN admins for being a mac fanboyism.... I wonder what they have to say now... double standard....? rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif whistling.gif If they cherish so much of these anti-fanboyism thingy, this thread shouldn't be here in the first place....

You try to enable that after 10.4.7 update or before? I think each version of update, you need to re-enable it. And if cannot, you might need driver from another version smile.gif But I think this is not proper thread to ask about, better we wait for the new thread tongue.gif

Gudluck.
