It's very common among all these beauty shops. You have to be very thick face to reject their hard selling. Some will even go to the extend of verbally insulting you to make you feel bad about your appearance so you will sign up the package. Lots of stories in female forums about these. Like those group buy deals, when you use the voucher, they will not let you make use of it until you sign up for the package and stuffs.

One thing Herbaline market themselves as they do not require you to sign up packages, do once pay once. They do try to sell their products sometimes but not as bad as other beauty salons. However, I find Herbaline staffs not as good as other smaller salons which tend to be more personalized, but more expensive and always need to sign in package. I also dilemma now.

1) the indoor consultant must ask you purchase the package, start from RM2999, then RM2799, RM1999, RM999, RM599, RM299, say something about your skin problem la...... free what things, free what special facial treatment, many kinds offer de lah. REMEMBER SAY NO. anyway they must ask you sign 1 package de. last weapon, you can say NO MONEY/ NO ATM CARD/ NO DEPIT CARD/ NO CREDIT CARD.

2) when you starting one facial (mean on the bed), beauty consultant must come to say something and see see your face. REMEMBER, this also push you buy something or upgrade your facial treatment. then you can answer her: diam, diam.... i wanna rest.

3) DO NOT BELIEVE GROUPON RM19/ RM39/ RM68/ RM 99 OFFER, DO NOT BELIEVE+ DO NOT BELIEVE+DO NOT BELIEVE....

BECAUSE I KENAL TIPU FROM ASSATA, HEHE......

better ask your friend where nice service or ask your friend join together, or do yourself.

how does the process step by step for cusomters that want to do their facial treatment?

Don't know if I understand your question correctly, but basically you will usually need to make an appointment first.

First they will access your skin condition, then suggest what kind of facial to suit your skin condition. Some will start hard selling their packages to you, then they will convince you that your skin will be like this like that after how many sessions (which are usually bullshit sales talk), probably show some "real life testimonials" from existing customers, etc. Typical marketing talk.

Then you'll proceed to the room, change into their robe, lay on the bed and wait for the facial session to begin.
It usually starts with cleansing, pimple extraction, mask, ampoules, some back shoulder and head massage, moisturize and for some, trimming of the eyebrows.

After you're done, you change back to your clothes, then they will sell their products to you and teach you how to use it, make appointment for next session.
