hi to all ICE master...

can i know where to download the high-quality music that is used during ICE competition? coz last month i saw this 1 guy playing a CD that is full with nice music for his ICE... he said the CD is from the ICE competition CD...

so, is it possible for me to download it from the internet?

The songs will be nice only from original cd. If download and burn to cd, the quality will not be good, normally the bass sound will not be solid if compare to original.

But I only knows 1 thing : is still rips from original cd and the funny thing is using any type of programs, rip using highest quality of 320kpbs, or burn from image, still original sounds better. If by ripping or downloaded from internet can get a 100% same as original, I will not have spend rm5000 for albums and singles.

no way the quality will b the same.. i think it is bcz of our burner.. u won't get 100% the same.. not onli the bass but the trebel also got different when u on it loud..

btw, if u can burn out like the ori 1, wat's the reason for HDCD and others?

By using TDK audio cd(cost rm2-3 last time), TDK CDRW, Creative software, with burning speed of 1X and all PC's programs all shutdown(means for burning cd only) also cannot get 100%are you expecting the rm0.5 cd can get 100%?

yeah of coz the difference between mp3 and cd quality will be a lot

so if the cd-r used is good quality and burned using images like i placed the original cd for burning then will the quality degrades a lot?
i nvr compare them side by side so it's quite hard to tell the differences.
even if i did my audio system oso cant differentiate

around how much the quality will be degraded if in this case?

btw im interested to get the ICE songs also like wat topic starter mentioned. do u all noe where to get it? online/not online.

The best with my way of burning it I can get around 75-80% quality only, maybe my ears sensitive? I will test my system using my prefered songs. Micheal Jackson's songs also can be used. I don't know how other people will think, but listening to songs is diff people, diff taste. Like most of my ori albums and singles are Japanese, for some people songs like Jay Chow is good but for me is just another rubbish.

If you are sensitive listener, the good way is buy original CD la...
Like 24 bits CD, SACD, HDCD....

nowadayz the pasarmalam's CD sound quality is getting worse.. better go torrent there download music files..

yeah.afaik pasar malam 1 usually burned from mp3 which is lossy.
the quality degrades alot..

Go download torrent.. the quality far more better than those pasar malam..

Pasar malam one is stamp the image on it, if burn it and sell, it will cost more. If using cheap cd head(those rm100 player) which the laser temperature is higher, the image might melt. So that's why the VCD that cost rm5 can only watch for few times.

To burn a CDR, the temperature can go as high as 500'C and CDRW is 1000'C. Both of them are peak, sometimes might be lower depend on disc used.

yaya...i went to pro ICE shop...he used my pasar malam cd....he listened n scolded half hour coz bought those cheap cheap cd...hahaaa

erm,so where to download? any link? pasar malam song sux...

i dont mind if its not 100% quality... i just wang the songs for ICE...
