I'm slightly irked by the fact that there might be no 2nd season. Reading wiki (and trusting it as a source) made me anticipate a 2nd season to complete the story, but now its:

I want a 2nd season with 26 episodes damn it. More Lulu! Moare!

Wow, the episode actually left me speachless, it was that good. The only bad part was the cliffhanger ending. I thought they should at least have finished the first part of the story and resolved the issue with area 11/Japan, allowing season 2 to deal with Schneider/Britannia's King. Oh well... another wait then.

Sakuradite is not abundant in area 11. Its a rare resource, but the area around Fuji mountain is the biggest producer of it, which is one of the reasons why Britania took over Japan. The pink colored cube spinning inside knightmare frames is sakuradite.

Nina got her sakuradite from the count. There's one episode where she went to collect her 'gift' (also the episode she met Euphie again). The count, being the mad scientist that he is, gave it to Nina after hearing her theory, which is why he knew that Nina's bomb had the capability to blow up Tokyo.

You're talkingbout Shirley Anyway, the geass' power isn't absolute. Euphie was able to resist it when she tried to kill Suzaku, and (I assume) Dalton stopped attacking Cornelia for the same reason. Shirley has already read the letter she wrote so she knows something is wrong, and I think its slowly making her remember.

Glasgon or however its spelt was the name of an elite Britania unit. Glasgow is the name of a knightmare frame.

Urgh, I have officially rewatched Code Geass too many times.
