Yeap, I can already see Zero calling Suzaku a hypocrit in an overly dramatic and emo scene right now.

8.5 wasn't exactly a recap, but a flash back scene. I wished they would do more stuff like that but 17.5 was just recaps.

Yes sorry, my bad as I was sleepy. What I meant was that it wasn't recap as in showing repeat scenes but rather the flash back showed scenes that we have never seen before (in the case of Lulu's and Suzaku's childhood memories).

I do think the series' main characters aren't defined as the "Good" or "Bad" guy since they both have their own reasons and justifications for their own decisions and actions. So labeling Lulu as a "Bad" guy isn't accurate as the argument is sacrificing the few to save the many (from the ebuil but awesomely voiced Emperor of Britannia). Suzaku may be the traditional "holier than thou art" "Good" guy but he himself has his own demons (killed his own father) so I like the shades of grey among the main casts and to label them in black and white would be a disservice to the series (and maybe your own enjoyment) as character development is one of its stronger points.
