My new nano is making a high pitched noise when I press the unit next to my ear. I won't be surprised if this happens on other iPods but I thought nano doesn't have any moving parts? So you guys got any idea whats making this noise?

The noise sounds like the screech hard disc makes when spinning. Although it isn't audible unless I place it near my ear, but still kinda worried ><

I think Nano uses HDD as well, no? Oh well, if yes, then the spinning sound is normal when you fast forward or skip something.

Nope, Nano uses flash memory, no moving parts.

Well, I've done some readings, and it seems the high pitch noise is MAYBE the capasitor or the backlight. But I'm pretty sure it's normal.
