Looks like Malaysians very rich. Can buy landed house in super ulu place for close to million, then don't even mind paying close to RM1000 just for maintenance. Who says times are bad?

.26 maintenance fees psf. Even the terrace also has close to 3k sf buildup so the maintenance is gonna be close to 1k. If you ask me, that's insane

I heard most of the buyers are from Selayang and Kepong areas. I highly doubt it would be easy to collect maintainence fees from these people. 

Yes, like condo and apartment, the management even has the right to cut off the water supply etc if the tenant refuses to pay maintainence fee.
But here, we are talking about the attitude and the mentality of certain people in regards to paying maintainence fees.

Believe me, Im in the RA for an upscale neighbourhood and there are still people who refuse to pay. 

Sanggup beli rumah 1m tapi maintenance 300 400 tak sanggup..

Then complain forever this not good, that not good, everything wanna squeeze the RA gao gao, forever question the spending gaogao, and on that basis, continue not paying    .

And also with these Strata landed there maybe a tendency that these owners just totally ignore the common facade ruling and gungho renovate it on their own freewill    What's the point of Strata landed then!
