Don't mean to be rude but the pictures you have posted is of Peranakan Straits which is Setia Eco Templer Phase 2A. Amantara is phase 2B which is also under construction. Amantara is nestled in between Peranakan Straits and Essex Garden. So, if you're coming from the main road, you need to drive past Peranakan Straits, but currently it's difficult to view. Peranakan Straits should have been completed in Nov 2020 but has been delayed.

Same here. As per info last Wednesday, all construction has been completed, inspection by government departments are complete and currently waiting for CF. As per the construction extension notice, the additional 167 days ends on 5th May 2021. However, the developer doesn't want to confirm if they can handover by then. I'm very unhappy with Setia Eco as they're very passive in communication, the construction delay notice was only announced after the 3 year period was over. I have been following up with the construction frequently and i noticed by mid Feb 2020, most of the houses were not complete, some didn't even have a roof. That's only 8.5 months before handover, aftr which Covid-19 struck, sending their plans haywire. They resumed construction sometime in May/June 2020 and still can't handover. However, Amantara is coming up real fast, let's see if they handover in time. Are you aware of any residents whatsapp group or blog?

Another bad news. Setia Eco customer service agent kept telling us that the construction is completed and they are planning to handover end April or early May 2021. Asi mentioned earlier, they are only waiting for CF and approval by DBKL. My wife noticed a news article online highlighting Peranakan Straits and mentioned the completion is due in Mis 2021. We enquired Setia Eco Templer sales office, first they claimed they are unaware, but today, they indicated that there will be a further extension of 120 days for VP handover on top of the initial 167 days. Why deceive us by saying handover is in end April 2021 when they have applied for further extension? Very unethical developer.

I made my booking in Oct 2017, and as per SPA, delivery of vacant possession is Nov 2020. Delivery is 3 years from SPA and grce period for MCO given once for 167 days and extended again for another 120 days. It keeps going on and on. Cannot claim LAD because each extension is approved by gov and exempts the developer from abiding to SPA agreement. Question is if the developer has applied for second extension, why tell us going to handovet in end April 2021? Why not tell upfront there will be a delay. Had to learn from the news. Reason given is Covid-19. Strange that Amantara is coming up real fast. Hope they don't extend again.

Well known developer like Setia shouldn't be keeping quiet and deceiving buyers by promising delivery but in the background applying for extension. Setia Eco Templer houses isn't cheap either. Problem with our country us that the law sides the developer, nothing much can be done.

Good news, Setia Eco has announced officially there is an extension of additional 120 days for VP handover. Reasons cited were delay by government agency to provide approvals. When asked when is the definitive date of handover, Setia Eco didn't want to commit to a date. So, in summary, there's no assurance that they will handover the house in the next 120 days.

Yes it is official, they sent notification. Manager at sales gallery cannot commit to any handover date. Are they allowed to do this? Off course, we cannot do anything unless buyers gang up. Developer is taking advantage of the Covid-19 situation. Technically speaking, the 287 days extension on top of time spent on construction is exceeding 3 years, assuming no construction took place from start of MCO in March 2020 to VP handover in Nov 2020. However, Amantara is coming up really fast.
