i send my beetle to this one uncle, an old timer at kluang johor
he repair beetles at his house and for cheap price
well my beetle was 1.3cc so have to use 2 switch unlike 1.2cc that using only one
but mine was did something that makes it use only 1 switch, the other one just left unwired hmm.gif
total costing is
switch = RM36 for 1 piece (i buy my own at spare parts shop)
workmanship = RM15 (really cheap notworthy.gif )

if say hard job i'm not sure
coz the thing is located at the brake master pump so need to open the driver side tire
and also need to be fast unless u have to bleed the brake icon_rolleyes.gif
and now my beetle brake was in good conditions icon_rolleyes.gif

this uncle he drive a 1.2cc 1969 beetle
he use the car since 1980 (he told me that)
all functions on his beetle was suprisingly on great conditions
example the wiper water spray, hazards light..
even the radio cassette is old one
but the most thing that attract my attention is his wheels
later i'm gonna post the pic of his wheels

by the way im quite new on this beetle crisis,
but my family was a bit crazy on beetle,
at home my father now working on restoring a 1970 1.6cc
and on 2nd oct we going to batu pahat to buy one more beetle 1.2cc thats now undergoing paint process
my brother buying it

There's a warehouse in jonker(closed at evening and on sunday) which distribute some parts all over Malaysia.
It's solely selling VW stuff. the shop is Lai Kam Wah but it's not easy to see if you did not put much attention.
the only thing that i can tell is that this shop is located in between two indian antique shops.

Thanks bro..
Going there to look for something notworthy.gif

ur exhaust totally can't use already?
exhaust buy 2nd hand one is useless, especially when u're looking at the stock exhaust. i did that just like u too. bought from a seller that the exhaust seem very nice, but after 4months using it, the exhaust started to spit metal...the silencer in the exhaust tip started to drop due to rust. and then the sound is like machine gun.

anyway i tend to speed everyday so that might be the reason the rust silencer broken in short period.
*
yeah can said too much holes and latest one i just hit a divider when i'm reversing the beetle sweat.gif
seems like almost going to break now...
so i have to find temporary exhaust for now, coz i'm travelling from kluang to melaka..
just now i'm drive from melaka to kluang, so far have no problem, just sometimes have jerking problems..
and the worst is inside car smells bad, the smoke from exhaust seems to be entered inside sad.gif

hahaha..that happens to me as well as my exhaust also 2nd hand...super noisy + smelly...
sigh...somemore i like to speed tongue.gif
i think jerking is not caused by the exhaust tho..
have u checked your plug?
*
All the plugs was new...
By the way the jerking was not noticeable anymore..
Maybe coz the holes become bigger sad.gif
