Im getting my license in 3 months ...
I own a stalled Volkswagen Beetle 1300 and I would like to make the following modifications :

-Install air-conditioners
-Cd player & audio system
-New speedometer

I heard it will make your engine weaker . Is there an alternative such as comsuming power out of a modern car battery ?

Im on a tight budget . How much must I set aside for a 1.6 and whats do you mean by " smaller generator " ?

Ps : Will the installation of a cd player and audio system affect the engine performance as well ?

So if I get a better alternator , my engine performance wont be weaker ? Is there a way to install an air conditioner on a 1300vw beetles without altering its performance at all =\ ?

My definition of performance is just being able to install an air conditioner and stereo system without having to sacrifice engine power .

Ps : I know this sounds stupid . But is it possible to have an NGV tank installed in a VW beetle ?

Well , I guess I could go enquire about the NGV tank after my SPM .

My dad's Beetle 1300 just came back from the workshop today, I'll be driving it most of the time from now on. What is the fc like? Compared to my Kancil that takes me from Damansara to Subang and back for 5 ringgit, will the Beetle be able to do that?
