anyway,no way man,u can't save ur budget and change the engine first then save ur budget again to change disc breaks,unless u plan to not register the engine...
if not couldn't pass jpj.1.6 must have disc breaks.

To be very very clear other than a recent bit of good fortune and generous people the forum was a money LOSER that I was happy to pay. I *think* I know what is meant by the above but wanted to say: not "all" are trying to make money. Certainly not me. Over the long haul I am sure to spend more than I get which is fine.

Please if any issue, let ME know. The buck stops with me and I answer to nobody there in the sense that if there is trouble I dont have to seek permission to deal with it. If no complaint or feedback? How? If its about ME well, talk to askar as he has my ear any time. I have started tightening the moderation for buying/selling in unrelated topics AND have started seeking a new moderator to assist in things. Know anyone that would be good? Let me know. At over 1,000 posts per month I think its just too much for one person and has gotten out of hand.

That said, it was a sad day with KVBM shut down their forum... there needs to be choices in any hobby. Lowyat.net is ok, but a car forum it is not. carivw may be a good choice for you also so if these are a better fit for you then I wish all the best. At the end of they day you should be able to enjoy your hobby without stress or discomfort. I cant read Chinese without babelfish so I'll leave that to others

min 6k meh??i counted more then that leh..engine and gearbox itself i give 3k..plus overhaul or some top overhaul..rm5k minimum..then disc brake with that dropped spindle..also 2k++..7k to 8k lor..

not say dun play to let jpj inspect..just that not so soon..or i will try to find "easy" way out..cause i also dun wan to get into trouble leh..later jpj that know classic stuff..sure they will open and check check a bit wan..

Added on December 8, 2008, 12:26 amnah..my meaning is simple..not to say that you guys can't sell stuff out from the forum at all..just that some price are kind of over price..and i mean some..not all item is over price..

cause we are dealing with hobby here..not making money here..so if u are willing to share wat u have..i can tell u this hobby will last longer..cause i have lots of friend wanna get a beetle..but parts and info are damn bloody expensive..

for example..if u have a book..teaching you how to deal or DIY about ur car a bit..why u need to sell it??why can't u just borrow to the person that intrested in that book and let them photocopy themself??if u scare the book spoil or lost..well..u can always borrow out the photocopy set out to other ppl..not by selling it..cause by selling those info..is like u are planning to making money..unless those ppl ask u to photocopy for them..then that's a different talk..

the best..u can always ask the person to come at ur house(if u are free)..and let them read ur books..this is how me and my friend works together..cause he have money to buy those VW magazine..and i'm kind of out of cash all the time..so he always invite me to his house and have a chat..
