This is as close to a moon I could get, and it's not even a moon. However, thanks to Indon's hotspots, I could safely take photos of the sun.

Here's a fruit tart to cool you people down. The tart was made for my daughter's full moon celebration. So I guess, there's a full moon involved.

Dun forget your face mask and oxygen tank also, becoz your neighbours might be burning lotsa 'hiong' and lighting up lotsa lanterns ... smoke smoke smoke!!

This morning when I leave my house my neighbour already prepare for the event : Cakes, mooncakes, food, piglet, and larger-than-life jossticks ... I am talking about those 8' high ones you know ... about 8 of them!!

Shoot moon no point-lah ... Mid Autumm Festival is not only about the moon, it's also about the celebration. You guys are supposed to capture the 'celebrating feel and environment'.

Wanna shoot moon, every 15th of Chinese calender also can shoot

tonights full moon is different than all other full moons.
tonights full moon will have moon fairies doing performances for the jade emperor. have you not seen tvb's period costume dramas?

Taken on 1/10/2006 through a 15x telescope.

Moon shot belum ada lagi. In the meantime, have some Moon - cake first.
Orange-red moon surrounded by yellow glow of the reflected sun-light in a black sky. Do you see it?

Nagore Place is a brand new tourism spot in Penang, its beside the famous Ice kacang place, the swatow lane.

There got a place where yo can eat BBQ Steamboat buffet, i think is biggest in Penang also.

The whole lane lots of restaurant.

The effect sure brings out the curves of the model on the right of the picture.

The moon was at best ,evasive last night. Got some semblance of the moon here. (No close-up though. Close-up semua tak jadi.) Tapi after some editting, the noise level macam teruk betul.

ya, the second TANGLUNG, the edge...not so clear...setting the saturation to -100%, then use the brush tool to brush at the tanglung, thats my way...haha....

using the pen tool is hard for me...

oh, okay, I just drove passed behind the stage yesterday, after taking a photo of the Rex cinema and visiting Young Ones.

Yes, i used a telescope. Variable zoom, 15x-60x . I just held the camera up to the eyepiece and took the pictures. Lighting must be good, otherwise *shake* *shake*. Luckly full moon was very bright.

I'm in the desert and there are no artificial lights that will affect the pics i take...but how do u exactly take pics of the moon clearly?

with tripod and wat typical settings?

not pollution la, last time i saw b4 this kind of moon during 1/15 and 8/18 in kampung, my kampung no pollution.
