Cannot, as pre-amp and electronic crossover are signal boosters, they have only RCA outputs, not speakers output.

I thought it's like: HU -> RCA -> Preamp -> RCA -> Crossover -> speaker cable -> Mid bass + Tweeter ! Not like this meh?

kenot

correct way is like this

HU-RCA-Preamp/active crossover-RCA-Amp-Speakers

got it?

speakers can only get signal from amplification module from HU or AMP..not preamp nor crossover (both of them are not amplification module but tuning module) doh.gif

that 1 is call passive crossover doh.gif

moreover.. u got the wrong way also

PREAMP DOES NOT HAVE AMPLIFICATION SIGNAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

u know the meaning of preamp?
preamp means pre-amplifier (means the module before amplification)
so in order to use preamp u must have amplifier !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so the correct way according to ur eq is

HU-Speaker Cable-Passive Crossover-Tweeter+Mid

It should be HU -> RCA -> Pre-amp/E-crossover -> RCA -> amp -> passive crossover -> speakers

The wordings in red is not a must for an ICE setup provided your HU has RCA outputs and you are limited on budget.

When using pre-amp, no need to use E-crossover or the other way round. As these 2 is to boost/filter the signal from HU to amp.

Pasive crossover is the second last part before the signal is send to the speaker as a selector for Low-Mid-High Signal

How bout the active crossover? can anyone explain.. ?
