That's a pity. Would have liked to drill him on why they excluded native DSD support on their flagship $1000+ DAP..

i bet they were holding the native DSD back to market their future ZX3 at another increased price...

I saw price slashed to SGD 699 already, not Sony Store but ConnectIT

however still pricey for me and I am still happy with the iPod Classic lel

I never thought Sony would cater such a "niche" market. First they got into portable amps (after much touting with the S-Master digital amplifier in their DAPs, I thought that was as far as they'd go). Now this.

They did plan some custom IEMs as well "just ears" or something, but maybe they scrapped it since its been some times since there was any updates on that.

That would be very interesting. A household name making custom IEMs.
I just had to look that up. Seems like the rough prototype has a conventional (metal though) back, but the front half is custom moulded. Temperature sensitive acrylic or whatever it is. Pretty exciting, but up to 3000 of what I presume is USD, typical Sony pricing. tongue.gif

lol Sony Malaysia ZX2 invite event is on the 10th March, looks like E1 is more exclusive having an official preview before them on the 7th.
I assume it's official since the title is "meeting the mastermind behind the zx2"?

ouch...i PM in facebook but was told need to go to store for the price sad.gif

i am unsure how much discount will be given..so i bought at another store which has better offer than sony ...and also provide installment plan... sweat.gif

very positive..indeed it's a big step up from x5 smile.gif

love the wifi feature on this player..it's just like my xperia z phone but with enhance SQ on it and now i can play my spotify and Tidal offline content on ZX2 !
