I tried to use a eyeglasses cloth to clean PC screen with water but I could see the marks left on it. How to clean it the right way? Can anyone recommend the best screen cleaning kit?

QUOTE(erik8lyt @ Feb 14 2015, 10:45 PM) I tried to use a eyeglasses cloth to clean PC screen with water but I could see the marks left on it. How to clean it the right way? Can anyone recommend the best screen cleaning kit? me too, i think your eyeglasses cloth has trace of oil on it or maybe the screen itself in the first place. I used microfiber cloth with water, and yea, there's marks left on the screen. Matte screen is harder to remove the marks... Glossy are easier, i simply used dry tissue or anything that is very clean, and rub the screen until the marks is gone. My monitor is Pavilion 25Xi |

dust the screen first.
if screen is oily use mild soap and water to clean the screen. finally use distilled water with lint free cloth to clean the screen. using distilled water will not leave any residue on your screen. u can use distilled water sold for car batteries. take note distilled water not battery acid for car batteries |
