Not the regular V-Power 97 in green pump.
This one is the V-Power Racing in red pump.

Have anyone try it before? unsure.gif

Some cars & driving style got difference.

1 - Try it for 2 full tanks. See I you feel any difference.
2- Then go back to your usual fuel for 2 full tanks. See if there is any difference.

If you don't see or feel any difference in any of the above situations, then there's no difference for your car and your driving style.

Try now before price goes up in the future

Regular Ron 97 is green pump. Yellow is Ron 95.

And it depends on the car you drive. Driving a Proton Wira and pumping in V-Power Racing is just a waste of money for example. And by the way, if you want performance, you shouldn't be concerned with mileage.

Can I try it for 2 quarter tanks?

Like first pump 10 liters and second pump another 10 liters.
On the second pump, the tank will be in consistent racing fuel?

As long as your tank is near empty (old fuel is almost used up). Problem with that is not many Shell stations carry VPower Racing. But I think you can time it so that when your tank is near empty you are already near stations which carry Vpower Racing.

The question is whether you'd always be around this station. When the fuel price went up 10 years ago, Shell removed most of the V-Power Racing from their stations and left only a handful still selling this fuel. That's when most of us gave up using it. Furthermore, the premium isn't fixed as it goes up with the fuel price. If I'm not mistaken V-Power Racing started with only a premium of 15 cents. Now there is a premium of 45 cents. Not worth it anymore. You might as well get octane boosters if you need it and overall cost less per full tank.

I will have to remember some station which offer this fuel.
The octane for this fuel is minimum RON97, so I guess most probably it's RON97?

Okay, I mean will it a consistent and pure V-Power Racing fuel if I just pump quarter tank on the second fill?

this pretty much.

however octane boosters can be subjective depending on how much they cost, brand etc.
personally i still side with them as they are concentrated load of additives to dump into your fuel tank tongue.gif

It's just simple math bro. If you still have at least about 5ltrs of fuel in the tank and then only pump a quarter of tank (maybe 15ltrs) you will still have a significant mix of your current fuel with the V-PR (about 20%is still your current fuel). On the 2nd quarter then the ratio will just drop by about half (about 10% or so). So will that makes it pure V-PR?? Of course not. If you want it to be as pure as possible, then you must full tank it at least twice so the ratio of your current fuel is pretty much diluted to the very minimal.

Anyway again like the above question, what is your car first? If your car is just normal car like say Myvi or Livina or Wira etc2. then no need to waste money, just use 95!
