devil case is coming up with new cutting wrap, the wrap they use is similar with imos, as for the coverage i think it only covers the back and sides, top and bottom not covered...
link
*
If it's not full coverage then might as well get Bestskinsever. I don't know, i feel like passing my phone to whoever who's going to Taiwan and wrap my phone for me there..

QUOTE(INGfusion @ Feb 11 2015, 05:40 PM)
better dont change sim card after apply devil case new wrap
*
Nah man even my 4S also i think the only time i change sim card is when i first out the sim in my phone and when i changed to the 6, so the wrapping would be the best option since i never change sim cards and case (change case only if the case is really spoiled though like my old Bookbook)

using best skins ever or slickwraps, good luck finding a case that is compatible with it yea. even with mine that is wrapped in mos coat i have to be very delicate with it and choosing the right case.
*
A lot of case incompatible ah? How thick is it? The case i'm using now (Pad & Quill Little Pocket Book) uses a rubber stopper thingy at each edge to hold the phone in, hopefully can fit. This is how it looks like:

for long term use, get the original from Apple store. been using mine for more than 2 years and it's still working fine.
*
but the price.. aiyaa.. haha. and so small so more, if i lose it sakit man. that's why i'm considering a cheaper alternative.

i took the plunge and ordered the Bestskinsever iPhone 6 Matte Full Wrap about 2 weeks ago. it arrived just now and i just finished applying it. overall i'm quite happy with the coverage it offers for the price ($13 including shipping). the skin covers the whole back, the sides, top and bottom with the necessary cutouts for the headphone jack, speaker and Lightning port. this skin should suit those who want to use their phone naked but still want to protect it without adding the bulk. i'm going to let it sit for a day so tomorrow i'll test and see if it fits my Pad & Quill.

okay just got my IMOS installed (not by me of course cause i would most probably screw it up haha) and now i'm done; no more accessories needed from here on out. so as of now i'm using;

Pad & Quill Little Pocket Book
Bestskinsever Full Body Coverage Skin (Matte)
IMOS Solid EX 3D Corning

this how the Little Pocket Book looks like:

this is how the skin looks like protecting the bottom part of the phone. it also covers the sides and top:

unfortunately there is one stubborn bubble left on the IMOS. anyone else experienced it before? any tips on removing it without damaging the screen protector?

Does it cover all the screen?
May i know what is the ring that covers the touch id?
Want to get some feedback as I'm finding a screen protector.
Thanks.
*
yes it covers the entire face of the phone. my phone is actually white color. if it managed to make you think my phone is black, then the screen protector did its job well haha. the ring sticker is actually an extra that i got from my previous glass screen protector; the Siege Glastimate. so i just used it instead of using the provided ring. but i'm sure there are shops or people that sell that sticker separately.

already PM-ed and Whatsapp him. will wait for the next course of action. aside from the bubble, so far so good. i love swiping from the sides with this glass screen protector cause the previous one did not cover the sides which made swiping a bit uncomfortable due to the uneven surface. luckily my casing is compatible with it.

Guys , got a question here . Anyone know if changing the rear housing voids the warranty ? I recall changing mine during Ip4s and it doesn't void back then . Not so sure for Ip6 and Ip6+ as i got a rear cover replacement for it . Thanks
*
why don't you just use a skin? it's way more cheaper and safer rather than changing your housing

hahah at least now you know that we have skin alternatives which are cheaper and easier to install/remove. some more those housing may not meet Apple standards so if anything goes wrong susah wo

QUOTE(Liem An Du @ Apr 4 2015, 11:57 PM)
i thought it was black after all. i just saw a small gap left wih a white color there.
Does it affect the use of cases?
I mean not compatible with all cases because too thick?
*
yes it affects certain cases but not because of the thickness, but because of the coverage. some cases need to grip the edges of the phone and this screen protector uses up the entire face of the phone so there will not be any room for the case to grip. if i'm not mistaken Connect2USales already made a list of cases that are compatible and not compatible with this screen protector.

for my case, the screen protector does not affect the case at all so my case is fully compatible (even when closed)

QUOTE(tutuyao @ Apr 5 2015, 12:09 AM)
nice case bro! Where do you get this from? Interested in getting one  nod.gif
*
thanks man. i got it from here; Pad & Quill. if you want other wallet cases, you can check out my previous post here; Wallet Cases.

QUOTE(megadisc @ Apr 5 2015, 11:37 AM)
yeah ...been thikking of change screen since mine cheap wan doesnt cover the screen so quite naked and no so senstivie ...
*
yeah this is definitely expensive. but it's somewhat justified for me cause as of now, my phone is technically all wrapped up; from the sides, top, bottom, corners and the whole front (and the front is the most expensive one if it's damaged haha) so it feels really safe now. also the experience of swiping from the far left (going back gesture) is more fluid thanks to the curved edges, unlike my previous screen protector where i would have to swipe through the sharp edges.

haha a lot of people pun said the same thing; "kalau hilang phone, hilang semua lah?" but actually, i tend to lose my wallet more than my phone. banyak kali i misplace my wallet; sampai dalam rumah boleh hilang. i tend to pay more attention to my phone than my wallet so by using this case, the probability of me losing my wallet is now 0 haha. wherever i go, my phone is always with me. i jalan2 outside pun lagi careful with my phone than my wallet, which is wrong haha

guys i finally got rid of the bubble on my IMOS! this is how it looks like now, as how it's supposed to look like compared to my previous picture.

user posted image

and how did i get rid of it? by using this method hahah:

user posted image

left it for a couple of hours and voila, no more bubble. if you bubble is smaller than mine, all you need to do is use a pen and push the bubble INWARDS (or DOWNWARDS), not outwards (towards the edge of the screen). it should be gone. hope this helps future users.

so its's pressing the bubble out ????
*
yeah it did, but i'm not sure which direction though. by the looks of it, it pushed the bubble to the edge cause if it pushed the bubble inwards, then the bubble would simply move instead of disappearing.

QUOTE(Connect2USales @ Apr 5 2015, 10:23 PM)
nice.. do you mind if i use share your photos in our facebook page?
*
can, as a method to get rid of it. but it has to be placed properly because it took me a couple of times to get it in the right position. if not placed in the right position, the bubble will spread out even worse.

So it's pure luck or skill?

Good job bro
*
i have no skillz bro haha. you just have to be precise. you can try it a few times, eventually you'll find the sweet spot.

QUOTE(Connect2USales @ Apr 6 2015, 08:25 AM)
It's actually easy to remove. We updated our installers on the techniques and should be easier next time
*
yeah at first i thought gg but when try it out yourself, it's not as hard as i thought. just have to push the bubble inward or downward and not towards the edge.

looks cool brah...old skool charm...reminds me of moleskin notebook  thumbup.gif  thumbup.gif

wonders will it look okay on my ip6+  hmm.gif  hmm.gif
*
thanks man. yeah i old skool a bit; prefer the classic leather case. the wallet was initially a bonus, but it later turned out to be a necessity. kena poison by Twelvesouth's Bookbook for iPhone 4 already, hard to turn back when your case becomes your full time wallet haha. for 6+ got also, but it will be really big. like, really big cause the wooden part will add width and height significantly. if you have a clutch bag, belt bag or you simply prefer to hold your phone, then no problem. but forget about putting it in your pocket, too big man haha

Some quick googling will show you how it's possible.

All you need is a receiver and a transmitter.

You will lose the lightning port for the usage of the receiver thou.

i just Google-ed it and the first thing that came out was the iQi, sold on Amazon. while the concept is cool, the customer reviews on the other hand does not sound pleasing. it even mentioned that it is not MFi certified, so the possibility of the thing stop working is there.

Go to the Qi website, go search the list of devices in the menu there.

This thingy is listed in the website.

So yeah, being Qi certified is better than cap ayam  laugh.gif

I am looking for more reputable ones but sadly, market has been bad lately  rolleyes.gif
*
i think you have to worry more about it being MFi certified. because if it's not, it may stop working after a couple of weeks, despite being Qi certified. that's why a lot of people avoid buying cables that are not MFi certified; it will stop working after a period of time. MFi certified on the other hand, confirm should have no problems. if got, it's either faulty or fake. so rugi lah later if you buy this product (RM142 right?) then it stops working after a while.
