Did you read if RainX is edible ? You know, you swipe/press the screen, then use the same fingers pickup food/snacks to eat ... yum yum... 
added: looks not that safe for ingestion and Group 3 IARC on carcinogenicity.
I think it's safe to apply on non-windshield stuff which doesn't get touch/ingested often, rather than a touchscreen phone/tablet screen.
