QUOTE(G-17 @ Mar 11 2015, 11:11 PM) They're not bad cases, just not that great when you factor how much they cost compared to the competition. They do look nice, and if you're willing to pay a premium for the looks and metal/carbon material, then its fine. If it's just protection you're after without regard for aesthetic, you can get equal or better with far less exotic materials. Most of the film/plastic screen protectors don't provide full screen coverage. Even less options if you're looking for a matte/anti-glare or privacy type. It's because of the curved edges on the screen and compatibility with cases (eg; majority of slider cases will not work with 100% coverage protectors). For full coverage protectors, I think you either have to go with tempered glass of some kind (IMOS seems popular on Lowyat) or the messy wet-application type. Moshi have both film (dry-application) and glass type protectors. They're called iVisor series.. Just Google search them. The iVisor Glass is not good, according to reviews - touch sensitivity seems to be lacking. The regular non-glass film types are quite good though (also cheaper), and they have both gloss and matte versions. Also washable and re-useable. I had an iVisor AG (anti-glare) and liked it, but in the end I still went back to the Power Support screen protectors, mainly because of the better smudge resistance. I've learned to live with it not covering the edges. Yeah, just received mine today. The case doesnt really feels like a case for that price range... feels more like something around rm50. And about the screen protector, I gave up looking for full screen and just stick with the one I ordered, and those IMOS thingy is just too expensive >< and the wet-messy type ugh not gonna go back to those haha.

QUOTE(Slyp @ Mar 13 2015, 11:43 AM) anyone knows which apple reseller outlet can i find ready stock for ultra hybrid gold and blue mint for iphone 6? I have a Spigen Ultra Hybrid in minty-blue color (I'm using an iPhone 6, by the way) and it was bought at MacStudio Live! in the newly-reopened Jaya Shopping Center, Section 14. If you're familiar with the PJ area, Jaya SC is opposite both Digital Mall and McDonalds! This post has been edited by THTgadgets.com: Mar 13 2015, 11:46 AM

Although you can also try the [i] Store by C-Zone just across the road, at Digital Store, in case MacStudio Live! does not have the colors you want!

QUOTE(dannygeni @ Mar 13 2015, 11:58 AM) My magpul cover arrive. Been using this brand since ip5. Quality and phone fitting is good. With shipping around rm110. Made in usa too Wow, this is a very solid-looking cover, and should be very resistant to high drops (which I'm unfortunately very prone to, with any phone I own! ). But too bad it is a solid one, which means the nice color of the iPhone's rear will be blocked off!

So I'm looking to get a Magpul field case (bandwagons lol) for my iPhone 5. Considered that the exchange rate has gotten steadily worse... this is gonna suck indeed.
I've been looking at what Tekcases offers, and curiously their eBay page pricing is 10 USD cheaper than through their website. Shipping on eBay is USD 5 more, but that's still quite a discount...
Now to sell my parents on this. They no likey me buying stuff online much :|

Sim adaptor can get at any shop or online. Brand does not really matter as all also is the same for sim adaptor. Better to get a Nano Sim instead of the cutting the sim card
