better check mine, has been in the drawer as backup ever since using my current casing. but then again i don't really mind it turning yellow cause it protects the phone well..

the coating on my 6 is really great. whenever i wipe it off (with my shirt or whatever cloth nearby) it doesn't spread the smudges. the smudges just disappear and the screen protector end up looking brand new.

it does look nice but does it protect the front panel? the front doesn't look thick enough to protect the front panel/glass from drops

yeah you would need to get those rugged cases (Lifeproof, Otterbox, etc) or any case that has a strong frame (those Element Cases, Devilcases, strong metal/aluminium bumper style cases etc). cause even those using Apple's original leather case also can end up bending their phone (someone posted an article last time, the guy used the red leather case and his phone was bent) so you would need something really sturdy to minimize or totally avoid the possibility of it bending. but it also depends on your luck lah, like most users in this thread did not report any bending yet with the case that they're using so i'm guessing their phones are still okay. if want to use those slim cases have to be extra careful.

For normal 6 it's still doable i guess but for 6+, this feature could be helpful. Wondering if it will work in landscape mode..

Bro if I were you I'd just take the plunge and try it myself. I've faced several situations where no one tried the devices/accessories that I was really interested in. As I waited and waited, I still did not get the answers I wanted. So I just went on ahead and got it myself. It's more satisfying knowing what you wanted to know first hand by yourself, even if it may not turn as how you imagined it to be. We just have to take risks. You would also be helping out other people by sharing what you learned about the product.

I have varying results with 3 cables; after a few months, 1 cannot detect at all, 1 can sometimes detect and sometimes can't and the last 1 got no problems at all

Last time if an app is $0.99, i would agak2 it to cost RM3.00 (should be RM3.40 but nak bagi sedap hati punya pasal haha). Now have to agak2 RM4.00. So a $4.99 app is RM20 when i would estimate it to cost RM15. RM5 can buy Maggi Goreng with ais kosong man hahah

oh they've already confirmed the max thickness for a glass sp to work on the 6S? i thought worse case scenario everyone is limited to a regular film sp. not sure if they have a full coverage version though..

also worried about the cases. although the dimensions are only .mm apart, it may still not be compatible with some cases as they have extremely precise measurements..

your budget bro? you can go for virtually any case given your priority. or you can just use a skin instead; thin and protects from scratches
