since you are still using it now, might as well wait until it break or at least until the oleophobic coating fade. Dont waste it. You can always upgrade it later.

some new PET SP comes with an additional impact resistant layer. Rhino shield, liqupel and x-one are some of those i can recall. Unlike tempered glass, the sp wont break due to impacts. But while its strong against impacts, PET not as scratch resistant as glass. impact absorbing sp normally has 5H pencil hardness while glass has at least 8H to 9H.

Depending on your preference, you can consider these 2. I never use rhino shield before. but I did tested liqupel before and finds the quality very good. Smooth on the surface like a matte type sp but clearer than matte. Oleophobic is also as good as those china made tempered glass (not as good as imos) if not better. However, not too sure on the duration it may last since for the test, i did abuse the sp to the stage its unusable anymore.

i wanted to write a review on the liqupel but recently no time.. haha.. just ask what else you want to know and i will reply.
as for x-one, also tried it ... initially it's really good, but it turn yellowish after some time (based on the sample of my friend who is a reseller), and while they said break proof, i have seen some feedbacks in FB that the screen of the phone cracked when drop..

it's a black protector with ring. What i normally do is to replace the original ring with imos ring instead

no... all coating are done in the factory. Not add on. Those add on coating are not lasting and can be toxic to our body too.

We had try looking for those coating liquid but most are for industrial use only. Those so call DIY one are actually harmful to our body especially ingested by children.

if your incipio not working with imos which is e2e.. that means incipio ngp cannot be use with e2e tg. have you tried googling for more info?

While mostly tested for the 1st Gen (0.55mm), it should work with the new one too.

There are actually quite wide range. Just make sure it's not a impact protection case as these types of case have a thicker lips in front that will eat up the edges of the sp causing it to lift. (if you get what i mean)

previously using similar one from momax.. not bad.. ultra slim. I liked it so much. but of cos, need to use camera lens protector to prevent the camera lens from scratch la.. although it sapphire, its not 100% scratch proof..

switch also can.. i normally test case in switch then update on the compatibility list.

if u notice，dust can go in and have chances to scratch your phone body。if u use sp， then u can reduce the risk

not to say scratch like those hard one.. but its more like causing it like a marks... if you seen it before.. white spots that are not able to clean off...

Should works, but highly recommend you to try it first cos even the first gen works with imos, some doesnt. Probably due to QC issue. better be safe, test first.
