bought thunderlord from xur last friday... trying solo the nightfall before it due later today and got thunderlord.......

then late evening playing clash in crucible, perform terrible due to lag and got monte carlo in return.... got 2 exotics in single day....what a luck

When buying destiny. When you redeem the code, what will you get? I'm trying to find 2nd hand destiny. Wanna know what will i miss. Also, how many dlc already is there? Any downside if dont get the dlcs?

When you redeem the code you will get the best weapon in destiny gjallarhorn and the No Land Beyond

Well first it depends on what code you are talking about, there are several edition and I think some of them comes with different stuff. Some codes are just for PSN Plus 14 days and stuff so it would really depend on which you were referring to. One thing for sure though, none of the codes will give you items which will directly affect the gameplay in any way. They could just be cosmetic stuff like the ghost shell or the limited edition sparrow. No weapons, no gears, no advantage whatsoever.

Currently there is only 1 DLC released and the 2nd one is coming on this 19th of May. You may choose not to get it but will end up lacking behind many players. Majority of Destiny players grind on the DLC content more since it provides higher tier gears which subsequently progress you to a higher level. You can however choose not to buy the DLCs yet until you are absolutely sure Destiny is the type of game you wanna lepak in for many months to come. DLC effects only start affecting your gameplay after you reach Level 20+ Onwards in-game.

My advise? If you wanna get it then better get it fast. Come this 19th, and most of us here will be extremely busy handling the new DLC and wont have time to help newbies. So now u understand ma ? It was easier to troll than to explain in detail
