Does the Vanguard and heroic has weekly lockout for purples?

I started to find that warlock spells are more towards mid-short range. Might play on that with STR and DIS. Especially Stormcaller has Perpetual Charge. What kind of weapon suits that range beside revolver?

But still...this game cannot Leeroy...

Finally killed Diablo...ops...Onyx last night! Oh man...I do love this fight! Seldom see FPS has this kind of boss mechanics. It's damn ohm. This is much more exciting than killing Diablo, haven't felt this kind of feeling ever since left WOW.

Died once though. :-( Didn't anticipate he change his method of attack in last phase.

Looking forward to raid! Bring me bring me!

No worries. I do my homework all the time before raid in WOW. In fact, I had already YouTube King's Fall guide quite a lot.

But I guess some question can only be answered in actual practical. Like I'm confused if the 4 players guarding the corners for shiny platforms/relics/ogres, how the other 2 contribute best? Or how to distribute running space when rocket barrage phase? Or the timing to anticipate where and when spawn occurs and pre shoot your rockets to that spot. Etc...

One question for many Pros lurking here: does faction allegiance has anything to do beside shaders and ships?

I'm selling my butt to Dead Orbit now because of The Fermi and Revenant / Bittersteel. But I don't like the design of their gears and their runaway ideology. FWC ideology fits me but their armor style looks like clown.

I don't want any of their weapons too. Id rather buy Omolon stuff from Mr. 44.

This week COE is easy actually. We reached a little more than 60k using 2 stormcallers and 1 tether hunter (sorry, not familiar with hunter subclasses).

For the weapon...I'm still waiting for my dear Eirene. Eirene O my dear Eirene, where are you...

I'm learning PVP too. Must PVP every night else can't sleep :-P (Actually I'm training my muscle memory for PVP)

Need muscle memory ah. Me lousy player + no talent. So need to practice a lot. Shame also every time need senior to carry.

I'm on purples HC and sniper only. But I understand this combo is not everyone's cup of tea.

Been given scout rifle a chance for a whole week. Still not into it. Strike wise, scout rifle is good though. Crucible wise, scout rifle damage too low for me, 4 head shots to kill. I perform way better with my Kumakatok purple HC.

Maybe I'm used to sniper rifle + hand gun combo in other games, it just feel more natural to me. Been waiting for Eirene RR4 for whole month!

By the way, KBM user here. So I can't give excuse when my sniping off the mark. Just purely my own fault.

Eh Nineh, haven't play with you yet ever since I got Destiny last month. Must book your time already!

T09, Raid I'm still learning also. For other activities, do hook me up if you need anything. PSN = Portalese . I'm your friendly neighbourhood sniper / nurse, I don't eat people! (But I zap them)

I'm mostly blood thirsty in PVP, do daily bounty, or working on exotic sword lately. I grind heroic strike with another new member Jason too when he's free.

PS : Cold very hardworking, good for Bunny. :-D

11pm onwards for weekends still ok. Weekdays most need to work. Raid will take hours especially involving novices.

Any FPS games require perseverance and lots of practice. They have been playing for 2 years. We as latecomer need to catch up on the curves.

Stormtrance don't 'strike' people. Stormtrance mow down whole team! 5 kill streak in 1 super...priceless!

I can do range support only. Me as sniper will never be the team backbone. That one leave it to you as auto rifle assaulter and shotgunner. The pace and rhythm of the game lies with assault not sniper / marksman.

Come PVP with us. All the laugh and giggles. We chat and PVP at the same time almost every night. And the team mates could give valuable advice. Matchmaking with high ranking team forced us to grow faster too.

Me too me too! I know how to jump ships and relic already! Piston still nope. :-(

Thanks for recommendation. Tried pulse rifle but it fell out of my play style. I'm more into high damage per shot, low rate of fire precision weapon. And great range. I hate fighting CQB. Warlocks can't let enemy blood spill on our beautiful robes. Glamour...glamour...:-D

However, I tried Hard Light for 4 matches yesterday. The stability is superb! The feeling of 10 headshot is a roll while strafing is great!

Oh yeah, by the way, I'm a sucker for design and style! Omolon weapons forever!

1 day 22 hours in crucible only to be exact. I have a feeling I'm not playing enough! Haha.

(By the way, Destiny Tracker says my DTR score 4977 @ skill 22 / 66.54 combat rating. Is this good or bad? Below average?)

Hard Light bullet trail is a big problem. The moment you start shooting, you're shouting "Hey, I'm here! Come for me!"

The reason I'm testing an auto as oppose to my usual crappy hand cannon is because I wanted to test the viability of abusing console FPS blindspot. A lot of people has no problem shooting left and right, but they're vulnerable to bullets from above. I don't have the skill yet to jump and shoot at the same time using hand cannon or sniper (True Vanguard's sky sniper technique yo!), Auto is easier with spraying and correcting cursor towards head hit box.

I'm all in for Omolon! My go to weapon is a crappy 334 Kumakatok HC4, occasionally swap to another crappy 325 Tuonela SR4 in raid. Still praying for an Eirene RR4. I'm collecting Omolon weapons.

Sniping you should look out for other Bunnies. Unifiend, Phoen1x, KSMeow and others.

Where got? In Pantheon I was pinned down by your Yuki and flanked by shotty. Very horrible.
