My review on the Galaxy A7 (2016) after using it for 2 days.

Findings are as follows :

- Battery life is gooding, more so when power saving mode turned on
- Games are best played with power saving mode off, since it shuts down quite a number of cores causing the game to lag a bit
- 16GB is puny by todays standard, but luckily it supports a dedicated microsd card slot
- glass back is beautiful, but too slippery
- no LED notification light to indicate notifications or charging status, had to press power button to see the batt. percentage
- fingerprint sensor is an added welcome to the A series, too bad it still doesn't auto wake and unlock the phone like with the Huawei's and Nexus'
- rear camera does not have auto hdr function like in the Note 5/S6 edge+ series

I will add more here if i happen to encounter anything else.

How's the battery life? Good?

Well, so far, preliminary expectations is that the battery life is good, with just a single sim used+micro SD.

But, as it's holidays for her, so, not much coming in to really stress test her phone until she goes back to work next week... It does seem to perform better and lasts longer than her 2.5 years old S4 (with extended battery). smile.gif

I have not tried installing apps into SD, but for any apps you have already installed, there is an option to move to SD from the Application settings in Settings. Pics taken from camera will be stored in SD card if a card is present inside the phone. Right now am using Sandisk Ultra 128GB with my A7, so far so good.

Been using a5 2016 model. Mainly for call n sms only so it was on Ultra Power saving mode all the time. I just had to try samsung after circling around with cheaper brand but got lost in reliability issues.

Bro, i am also eyeing for A5. Will use mainly for work purpose mostly and some light social media (FB, instagram, whatsapp, etc).

Do you think this phone is worth it?
Can dual sim right?

Yea can dual sim. I use it for calls n sms only. Whatsapp and anything else I use my tablet so I have very little experience internetting with A5 since it has small screen. I have been using 5" phone before, it's e but yea once you moved to a bigger display. It gets pretty warm by just updating apps using play store. So yea I cant really tell the full system usage. Sorry

I like A9 too, it is like a "grown up" Redmi Note 3. Unfortunately, its price is also a big grown up. That y Sammy chose to omit it here coz we ringgit earner can't afford it.
