Hello all guru's n sifu's.
Previously i was working with a big oil n gas service company, but because of the recent oil crisis i am ashamed and sad to say that i am one of the unlucky ones affected.
Can anyone give me advice/tips or pointers on how to overcome this? I am 25 years of age n have 3 years experience as a Field technician (Reliability/Specialised Maintenance) with knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, electrical, also Lead n supervised a team/crew during offshore operations. I have a diploma in mechanical engineering with a cgpa of 3.12, if it helps i also obtained band 5 in muet and completed 2 training courses previously overseas. Can please share info or tell me with my experience is it possible for me to get exposed internationally? Heard people saying to go international need at least a degree or 5 years experience.
Would love to further my studies for a degree but i need to support my family financially so i dont think its an option i can choose. Is there something i can do to make myself more appealing for future employers? Or do i already meet the requirements/criteria n have a possibility to get through this?
Help anyone? Sorry for nagging but so far i dont have any reliable leads yet..

Kau kene join company yang related to MRO of GTG bro, kalau downstream its related to PGB and MLNG plant - so kena join subcon yang buat servicing GTG di sekitar Bintulu dan Kerteh such as Serba Dinamik, UBF Maintenance, Mushtari etc.
For Upstream MRO yang related to GTG (Solar) takde pilihan lain melainkan join Turboservices. Rasanya there is one subcon company appointed by GE for servicing their GTG I believed its located at Singapore. Not sure for subcon yang service Hitachi & Mitsubishi MHI.
Kau boleh jugak join any subcon yang related to servicing steam turbine for IPP's power energy plant - aku tak berapa pasti who are the player for these market.
Kalau kat Pasir Gudang kena join subcon yang service LNG tanker steam turbine docking kat Johor (MMHE), tapi aku rasa sekarang mostly LNG Tanker diorang service kat Korea & Taiwan shipyard, ada fews buat servicing kat Singapore's Keppel as well.
The above statement might be incorrect. Anyone yang ada additional info boleh tolong tambah2 ya. Aku nih ada lah jugak few kawan2 yang keja MISC for LNG tanker so aku tau laa sikit2 pasal benda nih.
