hey guys..not sure whether this question been asked here before, but currently im in IT dept in local OnG company...honestly,i kinda bored with what im doing everyday in the office...doing the same IT task everyday...just want to ask either is it possible for me to change the position of where i am now to a position of which i could go to the rig etc, where i can do hands on stuff like supervise/plant inspector so that i can get my hands dirty rather than sit in the office with the qualification of what i have now?(i have a degree in IT)..,but is there any way that i could apply for a position like rig supervisor,or rig inspector etc...how?is it by taking paid courses?if its like that, than can u give the company name that provide the courses..please help me otai2...thanks

not yet...but ive been using SAP since the first day i came to the company....at the end,im still sitting in front of my laptop...haha biggrin.gif biggrin.gif ...what if i take the Plant/Rig inpection courses?...its a bit pricey, but if manage to finish the courses and get the cert,do OnG company consider to take me as Plant Inspector?because i think most of OnG company they would hire someone with Engineering degree in their belt to do the job....

You want to be in the action and hands on?[cool.gif 2 lines I can think of if you do not want to go back to uni

You can google the terms bellow for the training info...
