The technical areas which are related to ur background: Controls, instrumentation, telecommunications.
Offshore platforms need process control and monitoring.
Also need telecom equipment such as telecom tower, public alarm, cctv, even telephones.
U can try consultants like technip, aker, rnz, etc.
Or vendor/manufacturer companies like Emerson, ABB, Yokogawa, southern avionics, etc.
